Man Killed by Police Officer Over Money Dispute in Kebbi State
Ahmed Ibrahim was reportedly killed by a police officer following a disagreement over money. The incident occurred on Wednesday in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The victim’s brother, Malam Jabir, confirmed the news in a post on his official X handle on Thursday morning.

Posting a photo of the deceased, Mr Jabir wrote, “This is Ahmed Ibrahim. He’s my blood brother. He was killed by a police officer yesterday in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State as a result of a minor disagreement (money-related issues). The boy was very hardworking and respectful. He was a real hustler, always striving to improve his life, but he was killed by a police officer.”
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
However, when contacted by a media house, the Kebbi State Police Public Relations Officer, Nafiu Abubakar, simply said, “Let me make inquiries and get back to you.”
