Kwara United’s Coach Expresses Concerns Over Home Performance

Kwara United’s technical adviser, Kabiru Dogo has expressed concern over his team’s performance at home this season.

Despite dominating their recent match against Rivers United, which ended in a goalless draw, the Ilorin club struggled to convert opportunities, hitting the woodwork four times.

Kwara United has faced challenges at home, with one loss and six draws in the league this season.

Dogo believes his team deserved more than just a point from the game against Rivers United.

“It’s a game that we really worked and planned to get three points because of the value and what we have achieved on the road so far,” he told reporters after the game.

“Anybody that knows the team will know that we have progressed very well, but we are always finding it difficult to get the desired results at home- that’s football because it’s one of those things.

“We accept it in good faith and Rivers are lucky to escape with a draw.

“I believe the team is improving everyday. What we have achieved outside, we have not achieved it at home but we continue to pray for success on the home ground.”
