The Kwara Government has announced plans to introduce the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Vaccine in secondary schools across the state.

Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo-Kawu, the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, made this revelation on Tuesday in Ilorin during a visit by the advocacy team from the Kwara Primary Health Care Development Agency.
Modibbo-Kawu assured that the ministry is committed to ensuring the smooth implementation of the vaccination programme.
She emphasized that all necessary steps will be taken to guarantee its success, including engaging with various organisations and relevant stakeholders for their input and support.
