In a virtual meeting, the Board resolves to revamp editorial and commercial approaches, aiming to uphold IMPR’s standing as a leading integrated media organization in Nigeria.

Key appointments include Abdulrahman Abdulraheem as Managing Editor and Head of Media and Editorial Services, Sa’ad Shuaib as General Manager of Human Resources and Finance, and Mohammed Dahiru Lawal as head of Innovation and Special Projects.

Chairman Dr. Sule Yau Sule acknowledges IMPR’s global recognition in Public Relations, Development Journalism, and Fact-checking. While celebrating the accomplishments of 2023, he emphasizes the imperative to translate success into revenue, urging a shift from charity-oriented operations to a serious business enterprise.

Deputy Chairman Alhaji Yusuf Ali aligns with this perspective, urging IMPR to establish standard service rates and secure retainership with governments and private sector institutions. He underscores the message that stakeholders should recognize IMPR as a business entity.

Managing Director/CEO Mallam Yushau A. Shuaib outlines the company’s 2023 achievements, including plans for expansion in Ilorin, Kwara State. He highlights impactful initiatives, such as mentoring programs, research projects, and training programs supported by NITDA and Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism.

Shuaib also reveals the conclusion of a three-year project with WSCIJ supported by the MacArthur Foundation in 2024. The Board meeting, attended by key members, underscores IMPR’s dedication to evolving its role in the media landscape while maintaining its global reputation, further solidified by being declared the Most Creative Public Relations Agency worldwide by the Global Creativity Index (GCI) in 2020.
