Zacheus Salawadeen, a 33-year-old father of three, was brutally murdered in the early hours of Tuesday at his residence in the Tundun Fulani Area of Minna, the state capital.

According to accounts from residents shared with Daily Trust, the assailants stormed the flat where Salawadeen lived with his family and fatally stabbed him. Witnesses reported that the attackers first locked other tenants in the building before gaining access to Salawadeen’s flat.

It was revealed that the perpetrators made off with the victim’s belongings, which included his laptop and camera, exacerbating the tragedy.

Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer of the Niger State Police Command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, stated that the Bosso division received the report on Tuesday. The community remains shaken as investigations into the brutal murder continue.
