Gunmen have invaded Tambuwal Motor Park in Tambuwal Local Government Area of Sokoto State, abducting a spare parts trader.
The occurrence took place approximately at 8pm on Saturday.
Tambuwal serves as the hometown of Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, who previously held the position of Governor in the state.

An automobile spare parts shop was targeted by assailants who proceeded to abduct the proprietor, Mr Paul Ndibusi Okula.
Additionally, another individual was harmed during the incident and is presently undergoing medical care at an undisclosed medical facility. According to a trustworthy source, the gunmen’s objective was to abduct the trader’s father, who happened to be absent during the time of the assault.
“They then went away with his son, Paul,” the source said.
The Public Relations Officer, Sokoto State Police Command, ASP Ahmed Rufa’i, while confirming the attack, said police were on the trail of the gunmen.
“You know Tambuwal is a transit town between Sokoto and Kebbi State. We have informed police in the neighbouring communities in Kebbi State as the search continues,” he said.
