Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has criticized the contractors responsible for clearing drainages in the state. He said despite spending N100 million on the project, the refuse was not properly evacuated.

In a video, Governor Idris expressed his frustration, pointing out that the drainage remained unattended even after such a significant expenditure.

Speaking in Hausa, he said, “We spent N100 million to clear this drainage, but it was left incomplete; this is not acceptable.”

The governor then ordered the immediate disposal of the refuse abandoned by the roadside.
