Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, announced that Israel is close to finishing the mission to dismantle Hamas’ military capabilities in the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu emphasized that the strikes on the remaining Hamas forces will persist. During a meeting with students, he assured that Israel will accomplish all its military objectives.

According to Netanyahu: “Yesterday, I returned from a tour of the Gaza division’s location, I saw great achievements in the battles fought in Rafah.
“We are nearing the end of the elimination phase of the Hamas ‘terrorist army’, the strikes against its remnants will continue.”
Also speaking, an adviser to the PM, Dmitry Gendelman, said that the intense fighting phase in the Gaza Strip will end soon, adding that the Israel Defense Forces will move on to the next phase promptly.
