Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, expressed her husband President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s deep affection for Nigerians, despite the current economic hardships facing citizens.
The First Lady made this statement  during a courtesy visit to the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu.

Tinubu reassured the public that President Tinubu is committed to addressing the nation’s challenges. “I assure you that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will work diligently for this country. He loves Nigeria, he loves Nigerians, and he will strive to do his best for them.”

In response, Oba Akiolu encouraged Nigerians to exercise patience with President Tinubu’s administration. “My plea to everyone is that we should pray for Nigeria and its president. Let’s remain patient. Every good thing requires prayer,” he emphasized.

This affirmation comes amidst Nigerians grappling with soaring headline and food inflation rates, which currently stand at 34.19% and 40.87%, respectively. Consequently, the purchasing power of Nigerians has significantly diminished, exacerbating the prevailing hunger and economic difficulties.
