Fire Razes Multi-Million Naira Building in Ile-Ife
NEWS DIGEST – It was an ugly incident at the wee hours of today as Ebenco pharmacy store, moore gut fire.
The store located at the heart of the suburb of Ile Ife is left with rubbles as the eye witness who recognized himself as Mr lasisi Clement said ” I heard a big bang exactly around 11:30pm yesterday and I called on Fire service to compel the burning but they arrived late.”
He narrated further that: “I can’t really ascertain the cause of the inferno has the storey building is down and no certain cause can be actually be held for now”
Drugs worth of millions of Naira were carted away by the inferno as a result of the treachery act of the perpetrator who lost their lives into the building.

The ring leader of the evil act was reported to be one of the siblings of the late Engr Joshua Ebenezer Adegboyega who owns the pharmacy and died after being rushed to OAUTHC as emergency but couldn’t survive it.
According to the report obtained by NewsDigest, one of the eye-witness said ” the gruesome incident started with huge smoke oozing out of the building while I discovered that the storey building pharmacy complex has gut fire”.
The Oni of Ife Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II told the News Digest that “the issue is a family thing as we resolving it from our community perspective. It shouldn’t be termed as terrorist attack, it is just a fight over left over estate”
He said further that the cause of the explosion is yet to be determined.
Alhaja Alake Habeeb who’s a shop owner beside the inferno scene told News Digest correspondent that “the incident is shocking” . She added that the store opened yesterday well and in good condition and she was dumbfounded when she was told on phone earlier this morning that the store is now a shadow.
