The wife of the executive governor of Kaduna State, Hadiza El-Rufai, has faced a barrage of criticisms online for her perceived ‘insensitivity’ over Southern Kaduna Killings.

Reports have it that there has been killings in communities in Southern Kaduna in what appears to be a bloody communal clash which has sparked outrage by Nigerians with the hashtag #KadunaMassacre trending with gory, disturbing images of dismembered bodies.

However, recent tweets from the governor’s wife don’t seem to be of any concern about the current massacre in the state and it has generated critics asking if she doesn’t want to comment on the ongoing killings. Some of these tweets are:

“I need a new body. Mine is getting old.

Remember “Get Out”, that 2017 film by Jordan Peele?

Please DM me discreetly if you offer such a service.”

“Yay! 80,000 followers.
@Omojuwa @DrJoeAbah
How many more followers do I need in order to qualify as an ‘influenza’?”

She has replied critics by saying she is not a part of government as she swore no oath.
Did any of you see “First Lady” in my bio?

She tweets: “My TL is for language, humour and other light-hearted issues. I don’t tweet about serious matters like governance and politics. Though I’m married to a governor I’m not a part of government. I swore no oath.”
