Eid-El-Fitr: Kastina declares Friday work-free-day
Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has announced Friday, April 12th, 2024, as a work-free day for Muslims across the state to extend the celebration of Eid-El-Fitr.

The state’s Information and Culture Commissioner, Dr. Bala Salisu Zango conveyed this decision in a statement released on Tuesday. The declaration follows the federal government’s extension of the Eid El-Fitr public holiday to Thursday, April 11th.
The statement further disclosed that the aim is to further allow workers in the state to fully enjoy the Eid El-Fitr Sallah celebrations with their families.
