Eid-El-Fitr: Gov Sani assures Kaduna residents of security

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has pledged his administration’s commitment to partnering with the Federal Government to address insecurity in the state.

 

Speaking during the Sallah Durbar celebration at the Emir of Zazzau’s palace in Zaria, shortly after Eid prayers on Wednesday, the governor urged residents to uphold the teachings of Ramadan in their daily lives.

 

According to him, “We have prayed for the peace of our state in the month of Ramadan and I want us to learn the lesson of Ramadan and continue to work for the peace and progress of the state and the country generally.”

 

He noted that the state is facing some challenges, especially insecurity, which he said his administration is working with the Federal Government to address.

 

The governor also called on the citizens to continue to work for the progress of the state.

 

The Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Bamalli, commended the Federal Government, the state government and security operatives for ensuring peace in Kaduna.

 

The Emir hailed the government for the rescue of the abducted Kuriga schoolchildren.

 

He also appreciated the efforts of the government towards resettling residents of Tudun Biri community.
