Samuel Alli has been sacked as the Edo State Commissioner for Health with immediate effect.
His dismissal was contained in a statement signed by Osarodion Ogie, the Secretary to the State Government on Monday.
He has been mandated to hand over all government documents and assets to the most senior civil servant in the Ministry of Health.

“The government extends its gratitude to Dr. Alli for his service and wishes him success in his future endeavors,” the statement read.
Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki also approved the appointment of Roland Igbinoba as Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Projects.
Igbinoba will assist in accelerating the completion of development projects across the state.
