Five BUK Mass Comm lecturers bag Ph.D degree
NEWS DIGEST–The Department of Mass Communication at the Bayero University Kano (BUK), has produced five Ph.D holders.

Three of the Ph.D candidates were supervised by Prof. Abdallah Uba Adamu, who is a dual Professor of Science Education and Media Studies. Prof. Adamu, is also the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
Prof. Umaru A. Pate, Dean School of Postgraduate Studies BUK, and also a staff of the Department, together with Professor Balarabe Maikaba, also a member of staff in the department, supervised one candidate each.
The five Mass Communication lecturers include Dr. Amina Abana, Dr. Ashiru Tukur Inuwa, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Danja, Dr. Maude Rabiu Gwadabe and Dr. Umaru Jubrilu Gwandu.
