Baze University Launches Digital Services for Certificate Verification, Transcript Application

NEWS DIGEST – Baze University Abuja has launched a digital service to ease certificate verification and transcript application.

While launching the services, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Information Technology Research and Innovation (DVC ITRI), Dr. Rislan Kanya, said the initiative is part of the school’s effort of supporting its alumni as well as making it easy for people outside the University to verify results and process transcripts.

He said, “Baze University has developed a simple online portal for students and other critical stakeholders (employers, schools, etc.) to apply for transcripts, request for certificate and transcript verification in real-time.

“This is part of Baze University’s effort towards accelerating digital transformation geared towards improving alumni services and supporting employers and other schools to verify results and transcripts at ease.”

He continued, “the digital services will help to improve the efficiency of requesting and processing transcripts as well as certificate verification.

“The services will take away the stress and bottleneck faced by Alumni when processing transcripts manually. This will at the same time allow students to request and track the progress of their transcripts process in real-time, as well as support other critical stakeholders to verify certificates issued by Baze University at ease”

He further said that the new services will also eliminate tedious paperwork and man-hours taken to process transcript and certificate verification.

“Alumni and Students can get their transcripts at their comfort by visiting https://portal.bazeuniversity.edu.ng/transcript, using their email address or phone number and Student ID.

“Other stakeholders (employers, schools, etc.) can as well verify certificates and transcripts issued by Baze University in only a few minutes by visiting https://verify.bazeuniversity.edu.ng, without visiting the University or posting letters and emails,” Dr Kanya added.
