Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has fired his Chief Security Adviser, Ahmed Adamu Chiroma, effective immediately.

This decision was shared in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Ibrahim Mohammed Kashim.

Chiroma was instructed to pass his duties to the Governor’s Chief Security Officer.

The Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Mohamed Gidado, announced the news on Tuesday.

Gidado said, “Governor Bala Mohammed, on behalf of the government and the people of Bauchi State, thanks the former Chief Security Adviser for his service. The public should note this change.”

The reasons for the termination are not clear at this time.
