Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president, met with Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, on Monday.
Atiku announced the meeting on his X account.
Atiku tweeted, “It was my honour and privilege to host #PeterObi today.”

The specifics and purpose of their meeting, however, are still unknown.
In the 2019 general elections, Obi ran alongside Atiku for the Peoples Democratic Party. But in 2022, the two had a falling out, which caused Obi to leave the PDP and join the LP.
