ASUU set to decide on strike action
NEWS DIGEST – The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will in their next meeting take a position on whether or not they would be embarking on strike action, findings by THE NEWS DIGEST has revealed.

This position was confirmed by the National President of ASUU, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi in a chat with this Newspaper.

He said members have become very agitated that despite meeting with the Federal Government nothing has materialized from the discussions.

“We have laid low for a while hoping the Federal Government will do something but nothing has been done at all despite our negotiations, at our next meeting our members who are fed up would take a decision”.
