APC removes Yari as Osun election chairman, Omo-Agege takes over

NEWS DIGEST – Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has replaced Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari, Governor of Zamafara State, as Osun APC Primary Election Committee Chairman. This is coming amidst controversies on use of Direct Primaries by the party for the upcoming Primary election in the state.
The primary election is set for Friday, 20th of July after its postponement from 19th of July, 2018 over crisis and disagreement within the party structure in the state.
