Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan is in high spirits following her victory at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

CAS ruled in favor of the 27-year-old athlete in an appeal brought by World Athletics and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

“It’s all God,” Amusan shared in an Instagram post alongside the court’s announcement.

The Ogun State-born athlete was suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) in 2023 for missing three drug tests within 12 months. However, the AIU panel later overturned the verdict.

Had the appeal been upheld, Amusan would have missed the 2024 Olympic Games and faced a two-year suspension.
