Nigerian Afrobeats singer Wizkid has praised veteran producer and music executive Don Jazzy, describing him as an “amazing human.”
This commendation comes after a recent social media fallout between the two.
The conflict began when Ladipoe, a signee of Don Jazzy, seemingly ridiculed Wizkid on X for claiming that “hip hop is dead.”

In response, Wizkid dismissed Don Jazzy as an “influencer” and declared he would no longer interact with anyone signed to him. This led Don Jazzy to unfollow Wizkid on Instagram.
However, the two appear to have reconciled, especially after Don Jazzy expressed gratitude to Wizkid for endorsing his signee Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, “The Year I Turned 21.”
On Thursday, Wizkid took to his X account to hail Don Jazzy, writing, “Don jazzy! amazing human! [Love and eagle emojis].”
