Before his appointment at the University of Abuja, Na’Allah served as the Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete.

He is an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1988 and a master’s degree in 1992.

He later pursued his Ph.D. in comparative literature at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada.

In his handover speech, Na’Allah thanked the university community and his team for their support during his tenure.

“I am grateful to have worked with a strong team and I am confident in their continued success.

It is my prayer that the university will continue to make significant strides.

I will continue to support the university in any way I can,” he said.

Na’Allah also mentioned that he will be on sabbatical, remaining connected to the university during this period.

Professor Aisha Maikudi, the new acting Vice Chancellor, will now lead the University of Abuja as it embarks on its next chapter.
