Akpabio, Sirika, Onu meet Buhari in Villa

NEWS DIGEST–President Muhammadu Buhari and three cabinet ministers held a meeting on Friday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Those the President met with were the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika; Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio; and the Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonanya Onu.

Buhari started meeting with the ministers individually, beginning with Sirika about 11.30am.

He was followed by Akpabio at 12pm, while Onu came in about 12.30pm.

As of 1pm, Sirika and Onu had concluded their meeting with the President and left the Villa.

Only Akpabio was still left with Mr President.

The agenda of the meeting was unclear.

However, The PUNCH learnt that they might have come to see Buhari to raise issues in their line of duty.

They had all reportedly booked appointments for clearance by the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Abba Kyari, in line with Buhari’s earlier directive to ministers to go through Kyari’s office to see him.
