Police in Abuja have reported the apprehension of Nuhu Ezra on charges related to the alleged trade of human body parts.
Ezra, a resident of Gosa Kipikipi village in Lugbe, was arrested by officers from the Iddo police division at approximately 9:00 p.m. on July 9, 2024.
He was found in possession of a human skull and bones, which he purportedly acquired while hunting in Kuje, with intentions to sell them for N600,000.

SP Josephine Adeh, the police public relations officer, confirmed the arrest and emphasized the importance of vigilance among residents in reporting suspicious activities.

“The suspect, Nuhu Ezra, claimed he discovered the human remains in the bush during his hunting expedition in Kuje,” she stated.

Following the arrest, FCT Commissioner of Police Benneth Igweh has directed a comprehensive investigation into the origin of the human remains and the prospective buyer involved.

The investigation aims to determine the extent of Ezra’s involvement in such activities.

Currently held in police custody, Ezra will face legal proceedings pending the conclusion of the investigation.
