Given the current economic condition, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, has urged with Nigerians to have patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The Ooni made the appeal on Monday during a visitation to his family’s home as part of celebrations for the culmination of the Olojo Annual Festival in the Oketase neighborhood of Ile-Ife.
The king acknowledged that Nigeria is now going through a difficult time and that its people are dealing with numerous difficulties in all facets of daily life.
“I am aware that many individuals are going through trying times right now; life is not easy for them, and it is a difficult time.

“But I know that after this festival, normalcy will return to the country, as the problems we’re facing will soon come to an end,” he stated.
The royal father urged everyone to put up with more and make sure they support their leaders, stating that doing so would lead to tremendous accomplishments.
“We are almost getting there, for gold has to pass through fire before becoming shining. Government alone cannot do it without the cooperation of the masses.
“Therefore, let all hands be on deck for a tree cannot make a forest, neither any nation can get to his promised land without the contribution of the generality”, Oba Ogunwusi stated.
