NEWS DIGEST– The Kwara State Commissioner of Police (CP), Victor Olaiya, has revealed details surrounding the shooting of a 15-year-old girl, Mariam Zarumi, who was selling bread when she was fatally shot during a robbery around the Oja Oba Roundabout.

According to Mr Olaiya, two suspects, Azeez Shola Lawal (Efo) and Ismail Musa (Ostence), were arrested on the strength of a complaint by Mrs Kehinde Abdulquadri Sarumi, the deceased’s mother. “While the mother was at the Oja-Oba Roundabout selling bread at her stand with her children, a group of people with masks attacked them and started shooting sporadically.
