Maryam Abacha Varsity Gets Law Accreditation
NEWS DIGEST – The National Universities Commission has approved the accreditation of Maryam Abacha American University Degree in law.
This was contained in a statement signed by Dr Bello Umar Kumo, the commission’s Director of Academic planning.
Dr Kumo said in recognition of the foreign university’s effort to confer a degree in law to students studying in their universities, the commission found it necessary to approve the accreditation of LLB degree so that student’s from Nigeria studying in Maryam Abacha American university will find it important to pursue a degree in Law and a career in legal profession after completion of their studies.
Dr Bello Umar added that Nigerians who graduated from Maryam Abacha American university Niger Republic will from now henceforth attend Nigerian Law school when they graduate with a degree in Law. The statement added.
On his part the Founder of Maryam Abacha American University Niger Republic Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo expressed happiness for the accreditation of the university’s law degree.
He pointed out that the move is a good step in the right direction as it will boost and enhance university education in the international arena.
