Top four Nigeria movies to hit cinemas in December

NEWS DIGEST – The Nigeria movie industry, like every other entertainment industry had it own fair share of the coronavirus outbreak in March, which affected the functioning of Cinemas Nationwide.

In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, film makers took it as a point of duty to make top notch movies for their viewers. Fast forward to the last month of year 2020, I bring to you four top Nigeria movies set to hit cinemas in December.

Kambali

Kambali – the whole 30 yards movie is a Film One entertainment production in association with Huahua media, Empire entertainment and Film Trybe media.

The movie stars Toyin Abraham, Nancy Isime, Sharon Ooja, Mawuli Gavor.

The movie is directed by Kayode Kasum and produced by Mimi Bartels.

The movie is set to premiere cinemas from December 4.

Quam’s Money

Quam’s money is a sequel to Inkblot productions 2018 comedy movie. The movie narrates how Quam (Falz) rose from being a security guard to become a multi millionaire and the dramas after his sudden wealth.

The movie is produced by Inkblot Productions, FilmOne and House 21tv.

As Folarin Falz Falana reprise his role, the movie also stars Blossom Chukwujekwu, Toni Tones, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Williams Uchemba, Michelle Dede, Karibi Fubara with Jemima Osunde and Buchi Ojieh.

Quam’s money storms cinemas on December 11.

Nneka the Pretty Serpent

‘Nneka the Pretty Serpent – the becoming’ is the remake of the Nigeria blockbuster classic movie ‘Nneka the Pretty Serpent – the pretty girl’ released in 1994.

The movie remake stars Beverly Naya, Beverly Osu, Ndidi Obi and Bovi. The movie is directed by Tosin Igho, produced by Chris Odeh, co-produced by Ramsey Nouah, and Charles of play as executive producer.

The Play Network Studios Production is set to premiere cinemas on December 18.

Omo Ghetto (the saga)

Omo Ghetto (the saga) – two worlds, different lives movie narrates the story of two replica female characters with different lives.

The movie stars Funke Jenifa Akindele, Chioma Kpotha, Eniola Badmus, Ayo ‘Ay’ Makun, Nancy Isime, Yemi Alade, Blossom Chukwuyekwu, Mercy Aigbe, Broda shaggi, Alex Ekubo, Adebayo Salami and others.

The movie is directed by Funke Akindele Bello and JJC Skills. Distributed by Film One entertainment.

The movie storms cinemas on December 25.
