Senator Bima to open NOUN study centres in Niger
NEWS DIGEST – The Senator representing Niger South, Muhammad Bima Enagi, is making concerted efforts to establish the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) study centres in three out of the eight Local Government Areas in Niger South.
The Senator revealed this during an interview on Badeggi FM, Minna, at the weekend.
He said he intends to facilitate a NOUN study centre in each of the eight LGAs of Niger South.
He explained that the centres would increase access to university education in the zone.
Speaking further, the legislator said he would distribute hundreds of thousands of instruction materials to primary and secondary schools across Niger State before the end of the first quarter of 2022.
