Governor Sani-Bello mourns Amana of Kakanda, Late Alhaji Yusuf Muye
NEWS DIGEST – Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello has commiserated with the people of Muye and Lapai Emirate over the death of the Amana of Kakanda, Alhaji Yusuf Mohammed Muye.
Expressing his deepest sympathy in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, Governor Sani-Bello described the death of the monarch as a great loss to Lapai Emirate as well as the entire state as his leadership quality and wise counsels would be greatly missed.
“On behalf of myself, my family and people of Niger state, I offer my deepest sympathy to the family and Lapai Emirate over the demise of our father, Alhaji Mohammed Yusuf Muye.
“Our consolation is that he lived a life dedicated to community service, providing leadership, wise counsel even to his old age. He will be greatly missed.”
He then urged the family of the deceased to take consolation in the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled life and has left a good legacy in the emirate.
The Governor prayed Allah to grant the deceased aljanah Firdausi and to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Late Alhaji Yusuf Mohammed Muye Who died on Tuesday at the age of 96 is survived by 4 wives, 22 children and 75 grandchildren.
