I don’t like our names being dragged like this — Obafemi Martins hits at Burna Boy and CDQ

NEWS DIGEST – Former Super Eagles forward, Obafemi Martins, has expressed his dislike at the ‘lot of allegations online’ on the alleged face-off between him, Burna Boy and CDQ.

The former Inter Milan football club forward pleaded with Burna Boy and CDQ to allow peace reign in the state. He added that they have resolved the misunderstanding.

Social media was agog on Monday night after popular Nigerian rapper, CDQ called out Burna Boy for allegedly disrespecting former Super Eagles forward, Obafemi Martins.

Afterwards, different stories surfaced online, with most of it claiming that there was a fight between Obafemi Martins and Burna Boy at Bayrock club in Lagos.

Burna Boy was alleged to have disrespected Obafemi Martins at the club, which prompted CDQ to fire back at the Grammy nominated singer on his Twitter page.

“Burna for the first time I’m disappointed in u!!!!! U and ur boys need to go apologize to Obagoal now! No let dem dey deceive u wit ur village title say african gi-ant com dey disrespect Oba👂 Eko lonpe bi. Obafemi Martins is not anybody’s mate 👽 if we dey cry make we dey see,” he tweeted.

In response to Burna Boy and CDQ, Obagoal via an Instagram post pleaded with the artistes to forget everything and move on with their lives.

“I have been seeing a lot of allegations online and I don’t appreciate our names being disgraced like this. We had some misunderstanding a few nights ago but this issue don resolved already sha. There be no fight at bayrock, the club not even opened for clubbing I just called my boys to talk about the issue there. I be shareholder there na, don’t destroy my business oo. There is always fight and love amongst brothers. You guys are making too much hype you should forget it and carry on. Eko oni baje!”
