Those plotting against Amaechi will fail–APC Chieftain
NEWS DIGEST–A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-south zone, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has stated that persons plotting against the Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, will fail.
He urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to be steadfast, while assuring that Amaechi, the leader of the party in Rivers State and the South-south zone, would emerge stronger and better.
Eze, Thursday in an online statement, expressed surprise that many beneficiaries of the large-heartedness of the former Rivers Governor (Amaechi) were actually plotting against their benefactor.
He said: “The people who have taken pulling Amaechi down as their primary responsibility have found access through persons who earlier immensely benefitted from the transportation minister’s kindness and generosity.
“The efforts of Amaechi to restore good governance to Rivers State, through properly-organised congresses in APC and full participation in the 2019 general elections were frustrated by some enemies of the state, who remained in APC and worked with leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and top officials of the Rivers government.
“It is shocking that many of the politicians who immensely benefitted from the political sagacity and benevolence of Amaechi are now offering themselves for wicked alliance with saboteurs. The plots against Amaechi will still fail. The plotters will end up making the transportation minister stronger and better.”
The APC chieftain also stated that Amaechi had carved a niche for himself as a dogged fighter for justice, fairness, equity and an uncompromising believer in true democracy.
