June 12:Presidency mocks Obasanjo
NEWS DIGEST -As various reactions continue to trail the conferment of Grand Commander Federal Republic on Late Kashimawo Abiola ,the Presidency through the Social media aide of Mr Buhari ,Lauretta Onochie, has thrown a subtle shade at former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
In a tweet this morning, Lauretta teased the Former President to write another letter regarding the conferment of the honor on Kashimawo.
The tweet reads; “Dis boy Buhari no dey hear word. MKO? Gani Fawehimi? Dis boy don kill me be dat. Make I write anoda letta. “
The tweet which was tagged with Picture of Olusegun Obasanjo ,may be refering to various letters written to Buhari by the Former President on few occassions.
Mr Obasanjo a one-time friend of Incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari had accused the current leadership of failing to live up to expectations and failing to solve key issues facing the Country including insecurity , a claim the Presidency has always denied.
As part of the move to celebrate late Kashimawo Abiola ,June 12 was declared the new Democracy day by the Federal Government with an expected effect from 2019.
