Khalifa Abubakar names orphanage after his mother, donates N20million to orphans, IDPs

NEWS DIGEST – The founder of the Khalifa Abubakar foundation, Khalifa Abubakar, has donated over Twenty million Naira to the Orphans and Internally Displaced Persons in the country.

Confirming this development, he also speaks on his passion and drive for helping the less privileged in the society.

According to him, there is a need to help those in the society who do not get the privilege of care and are disadvantaged.

Khalifa who doubles as the Managing Director of Khalifa Group of Companies noted that the foundation has invested a lot into helping Orphans with an Orphanage named after his mother, Justice Fatima Lami.

The foundation has also helped thousands of internally displaced persons, giving them reasons to smile and have beamer of hope.

He noted that if people who have siblings and parents can complain about how hard it is to survive, there should be an imagination on what Orphans face, to him this and more motivates him to be of help to Orphans who he can plant a smile on.

With donations of over twenty million naira and immense impacts in Katsina and Abuja, the foundation is set to continually make impacts and has said challenges is not enough to stop the drive.

Truly, they are living the words, with many internally displaced persons and Orphans having a reason to be happy and a reason to have rekindled hope.

Khalifa noted that helping people comes with its own challenges but that does not derail him, he strongly believes that the happiness of the Orphans and Internally Displaced Persons is a daily motivation to ensuring the sustenance of the values of the foundation.

In one day on September 4th, Khalifa Foundation impacted over 1,700 Internally Displaced persons, highlighting the readiness to continuing in the path of rare succour to those who direly need such.

The foundation also built and donated a Mosque called Fatimatu Fauziyya Jummat mosque. Khalifa noted that the Mosque is named after someone close to his heart and would help many persons with ease of worship and getting closer to God in their daily dealings.

Khalifa also encouraged people to support the less privileged with even what they consider little, he highlighted how he started and noted that starting with the genuine intentions to helping has ensured he impacted many in the society.

He encouraged that helping people should start from the immediate environment.

“If you want to help, you can start from one person and ensure you help those around you because their comfortability is a good way to start in the quest to help,” the founder of Khalifa Abubakar foundation noted.

He also restated his commitment to ensuring that those who may not be privileged to get help are helped and the foundation continues to stand core on its mandate of impact.
