Ex-Kano Gov, Ibrahim Shekarau dumps APC for NNPP
NEWS DIGEST – A former Governor of Kano State, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau has officially join the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The News Digest reported that Shekarau, representing Kano Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly had been in talks with a former governor of the State and national leader of the NNPP, Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso, to pave way for his final exit from the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2023 elections.
The former DG of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s Support Group AbdulMumin Jibrin, who recently joined the NNPP made the disclosure via a tweet on his official Twitter page.
The tweet reads, “BREAKING- Sen Ibrahim Shekarau joins NNPP. Details later.”
