Youth group salutes supporters of Borno Gov.-Elect, Prof. Zulum

NEWS DIGEST–The Zulum/KSM solidarity forum, a political group which was formed last year to drum up support for Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, formerly an All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate but now Governor-elect, has expressed its tremendous appreciation to all those who contributed to the victory of APC in Borno State.

The group’s President, Comrade Mahmud Lawan Zannah, thanked their coordinators in the 27 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the State, saying that their immeasurable efforts, and struggles was critical to the successes of President Muhammadu Buhari, Prof. Zulum, Governor Kashim Shettima and several other APC’s contestants who were returned elected, in the polls held in the state.

In a press statement, Comr. Lawan Zannah said: “To our vivacious and determined Zulum/KSM Solidarity Forum Coordinators, because of your campaigns and engagements, we were never in doubt that President Buhari, Prof. Zulum and all APC candidates in Borno State would emerge victorious. Many of you stood the cause even at the detriment of your safety and my gratitude for your selflessness knows no bounds.

“Our zonal coordinators have formed the glue to our infallible structures that gave us the opportunity to cover all Local Government Areas in Borno State, we are indeed grateful.

“To my team at the ZULUM/KSM SOLIDARITY FORUM Presidential Wine, victory has rewarded all the vigil and hard work and no words can fully qualify how proud you all have made me. From the Executives to the lowest ranks, every single sweat counts. Thank you very much.

“While we celebrate this historic victory for our dear State Maiduguri and entire country Nigeria, our work of promoting the legacies of President Buhari, Prof. Zulum and Governor Shettima still continues, because they need us now as much as they did before; if not more.

“It is our responsibility as Executives and real Buharists/Zulum to heal whatever wounds the ill side of political/electoral activities have inflicted on our fragile State and the Nation at large”.
