Peter Obi, the former Labour Party presidential candidate, emphasized that every Nigerian child deserves a future brimming with opportunities.

On Thursday, Obi took to his official X handle to highlight the importance of creating a society where children can thrive and realize their potential.

He made these remarks at Corona School in Gbagada, Lagos, where he attended a graduation ceremony as the Special Guest of Honour.

“I was delighted to honor the invitation of Tolu, an 11-year-old head boy from Corona School in Gbagada, Lagos. He had taken the initiative earlier in May to invite me as the Special Guest of Honour to their primary six school graduation ceremony.

“I was happy to share interactive moments with the children, the future leaders of our nation. I was greatly moved by the confident expressions of their lofty dreams and aspirations in life. Their dreams are valid and will go a long way in building a better Nigeria.

“Building a better and conducive environment for our children to fulfill their potentials and achieve their dreams has continued to fuel our passion and strengthen our resolve in the struggle for a better nation,” Obi stated.
