COVID-19: NCDC records 422 new cases, one death
NEWS DIGEST − The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday, has recorded only one fatality as the COVID-19 deaths toll decline drastically and reported a total number of 422 new confirmed cases.
According to the data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, dated 11 January, 2022.
NCDC confirmed that since the outbreak of COVID-19 in the week 9,2020 till date 249,154 cases have been recorded across the 36 states and the Federal Capital of Territory. The COVID-19 fatalities altogether stand at 3086.
Breakdown of the cases
However, the reported new cases are now 422 infections as of Tuesday. The agency reported cases from: River (178), Kwara (87), FCT (57), Borno (20), Kaduna (17), Plateau (14), Katsina (12), Delta(6), Edo(6), Jigawa(6), Abambra (5), Ekiti(5), Oyo(5), Ogun (3), Nasarawa (1).
As the fluctuation rate becoming visible on daily basis Lagos disappears from the state tracked with confirmed cases.
