Boeing working its way out of crisis, manufactured 480 commercial aircraft in 2022
NEWS DIGEST – U.S. aircraft maker Boeing delivered significantly more passenger and cargo jets in 2022 compared to the previous year.
This followed what have been known to be a few difficult years.
The company on Tuesday said it delivered 152 commercial aeroplanes in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to 99 commercial aeroplanes delivered in the same period a year earlier.
In 2022 as a whole, Boeing delivered a total of 480 commercial aircraft, a 41 per cent increase compared to the year before.
Boeing would provide detailed fourth quarter financial results on Jan. 25, the company said in a statement.
