Belgore picks APC form for Kwara Assembly, promises youth-centred policies

NEWS DIGEST – An aspirant vying for the Kwara State House of Assembly, Olushola Yusuf Belgore, has picked the All Progressives Congress, APC, interest, and nomination forms ahead of the 2023 elections.

Mr Belgore seeks to represent Ilorin South Constituency.

Speaking after purchasing his forms, Mr Belgore disclosed that his priority remains the youths who he described as repositories of potential needing attention and empowerment.

According to him, the decision to contest the seat followed calls from his people who believed in his capacity to deliver.

Mr Belgore: “The young, old, and our women will be given priority.

“My ambition is to legislate on issues that will bring success to my people, whose well-being is my priority.

“I am young, smart, trustworthy and I believe I have the strength to fight for the good of my people.”

Mr Belgore said Ilorin South as the economic hub of Kwara State, needs a relatable, accessible person and innovative personality who can drive development in the constituency.

“My main focus is bringing government closer to my people by being a good representative. And my motive for contesting is to change the dimension of our politics in the south.

“We need to think differently and I see myself as that person needed to achieve all that. I’m sure my constituency is assured of that with me at the helm of affairs,” he said.

The political canvasser, therefore, urged the electorate to be firm and rigid in electing their leaders with a conscience because whatever decision they make affects directly or indirectly for a long time.
