Adesina, Dan-Ali, NIPR President, others to grace Campus Journalism Awards

NEWS DIGEST – The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina and a former Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief of Daily Trust newspaper, Mannir Dan-Ali, are billed to speak at the 5th edition of the Campus Journalism Awards.

Malam Mannir Dan-Ali is the Keynote Speaker while Mr Femi Adesina will grace the function as the Chairman of the Occassion.

According to Gidado Yushau Shuaib, the Editor Youths Digest (the programme organiser),  Adesina will be at the much-anticipated event alongside other dignitaries, including the President Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Malam Mukhtar Sirajo (Guest Speaker), Comrade Auwal Musa Rafsanjani, Executive Director CISLAC (Chief Host), Chairman of the  Image Merchants Promotion Ltd (IMPR), Dr Sule Yau Sule and Managing Editor, Northern Operations of The Nation Newspapers, Alhaji Yusuf Alli.

With the theme -‘The Role of Student Journalism in Nation Building’, the award programme which aims at celebrating and recognising outstanding campus journalists, will be held on Saturday, December 10th 2022, at Hotel 2020 Wuye, Abuja by 3cpm prompt.

Speaking on the award event, Shuaib said “We are honoured to showcase and celebrate the outstanding campus journalists each year on the platform of the CJA.

“In the past five years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to nurture and showcase young talents from across the country.”

The Campus Journalism Awards is hosted with support from the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC).
