Abubakar Barde wins APC Reps ticket in Taraba
NEWS DIGEST – The winner of the just concluded All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Representatives’ primary in Taraba state, Abubakar Danladi Barde has appreciated those who cast their vote for him to secure the ticket to represent the party in the 2023 elections.
Barde will be contesting to represent the people of Donga, Takum, Ussa and Yangtu (SDA) federal constituency.
The candidate of the APC in his appreciation statement sees his emergence as a collective endeavour of his constituents who have overwhelmingly showed support for his aspiration.
“It is no small honour and one of the humbling experiences of my life.
I am profoundly grateful to God for the gift of a people so resolute in their pursuit of meaningful and sustainable development. I extend my gratitude to those who cast the votes that made this victory possible and those who didn’t vote for me for reminding me not to take this opportunity for granted,” Barde said in a statement of his appreciation.
In his gratitude to the APC party for trusting him as a worthy individual who is ready to shoulder the responsibilities attached to the seat under the party.
He also thanked his family for the undiluted support, love, and care shown in the process of the primary.
He said, “There is no word to describe the sacrifice and unadulterated support from my beautiful family; they continually ease my burden and as my first Constituency, they gave the springboard upon which this journey began and my gratitude knows no bound.”
While thanking his campaign crew who worked for the success of the election through campaign and publicity, the intending lawmaker also extended his appreciation to the electoral committee for “upholding credibility and amplifying the true and unanimous voice of the people.”
He calls on his constituency members to get ready and prepare for the upcoming elections in 2023 as he foresees victory.
